8/21 Message from Principal Morici

Good evening LPE families!  I just wanted to give you a quick reminder that our Computer Distribution event is this MONDAY AUGUST 24TH!  We are looking forward to seeing you!  The schedule is below.  Simply drive up to the front of the school on Browning Street during your child's timeslot where you will be met by me or one of our amazing staff members.  Give us the name of your child(ren) and we will give you a Lenovo Chromebook computer (one per child). It should be a fun event! Remember, only students who DID NOT pick up a computer last Spring are eligible to receive a computer next week. *Please make sure to remain in your vehicle with a mask on throughout the event.    

I also wanted to let you know that I will be hosting my first Principal's Coffee event of the school year on Monday August 24th at 4pm via Zoom.  If you are new to our school, my monthly Principal's Coffees are events during which I answer family member questions and provide information about our school.  Please plan on attending!  The Zoom info was included in my email (please keep this information confidential and DO NOT post anywhere on social media...thank you!). If you DID NOT receive my 8/21 email, please let me know. If you cannot make it to this, I will be sending out notes to all families.

**Quick note - Classroom rosters will be going out on August 28th.  That day, you can expect a communication from your child's teacher with info about Zoom sessions during the week of August 31st and beyond.

August 24th Computer Distribution Schedule:

9-10am - TK/K

11am-12pm - Grades 1 and 2

1-2pm - Grades 3 and 4

*If necessary, you may also come to our make up session on Tuesday August 25th 2-4pm.

*If you require a walk up location, please meet a staff member on the corner of Browning and Plum during your timeslot.

*If you have children in multiple grades, we can give you laptops for your children in one stop (no need to come to multiple timeslots).

*If you have any library books or textbooks from last year, you may return these items at this event as well. Please place them in a plastic bag labeled with your child's name and current grade.

*We will be arranging a 2nd Distribution event during the week of August 31st to give out school supplies and paper materials.  If you are not available to pick up your child's laptop on 8/24 or 8/25, you can arrange to receive it during this event.
