TK Day as a Dolphin!
TK Day as a Dolphin 2026 will be held on Thurs 4/23 at 1:30pm! All incoming TK students (and family members) are invited to campus to take a tour and meet our teachers. Meet us at our Library on 4/23 at 1:30pm!
On behalf of the Loma Portal Foundation, we’re excited to welcome you and your incoming TK Students to Loma Portal Elementary and into our wonderful school community!
To help your little ones get comfortable and excited for their new adventure, we’re hosting our annual Day as Dolphin on Thursday, April 23rd — and you’re invited! This is an optional, free event hosted by parent volunteers.

Event Details:
Date: THURSDAY, April 23rd
Incoming TK Families: Check in 1:00 - 1:30 PM; Event 1:30 – 2:30 PM
During the event, families will:
- Tour the campus, including the library, classrooms, and STEAM room
- Meet the Principal and connect with other families
- Learn a bit about what the school foundation does
- And most importantly — have fun and start making friends!
This is a great opportunity to help our future Dolphins feel at home before the first day of school. Siblings are welcome. We’ll also be sharing some upcoming playdates soon to help the kids build friendships and excitement over the summer.

TK/Kinder Playdates!
Summer 2026 TK/K Playdates are on campus (use the Willow St. entrance) on our TK/Kinder Playground. Dates are below:
- Fri July 10th (3-4pm)
- Fri July 31st (3-4pm)

TK/K Orientations
A short orientation including a tour of your child's classroom will be held at our TK/K playground on the dates below:
- TK - Fri Aug 7th (3-3:30pm)
- Kinder - Fri Aug 7th (4-4:30pm)
New Student Tours!
Tours for new students Grades 1-4 will be held on the following dates (meet Principal Morici at the Main Office):
- April 16th (2:30-3:30pm)
- Fri August 7th (9-10am)
